Academy of the West Marjorie Bruan Library Restoration |
|
|
Project Description: The challenge was to restore, refine, and enhance this historic library while equipping it with state-of-the-art audio, video, lighting, air-conditioning, and refreshment services. This was accomplished in a manner that allowed easy conversion between the various uses as a traditional library, lecture room, conference/board room, small recital hall, reception/social area, and classroom. The restoration and enhancement of the library was completed in an unobtrusive way that did not detract from its historical ambiance.
